The Plasma Shower hand piece is unique to Plasma bt.

It uses low-temperature atmospheric plasma to gently open the cell walls of the skin simultaneously sterilising the skin and destroying any acne causing bacteria.  By doing this it enhances the absorption of anything placed on the skin afterwards by 120% allowing a super-charged treatment when combined with mesotherapy cocktails.  At Rediscovered Skin Clinic we offer mesotherapy treatments for acne, pigmentation and ultra-hydration together with hyaluronic acid, anti-oxidants, amino acids and vitamins and minerals for anti-ageing and optimal skin health.

What does the treatment involve?

This is a very quick treatment.  The skin is cleansed then prepped with a toner prior to treatment. The shower head is passed over each area of the face according to a timed interval on the machine. The skin may feel a warm sensation and there may be a smell of ozone which is harmless. Following treatment the mesotherapy cocktail is massaged over the skin until absorbed. Treatment indications include;

  • Skin rejuvenation / regeneration
  • Collagen remodelling and elastin production
  • Anti-inflammation, anti-bacteria
  • Acne care, sterilisation
  • TDDS (Transdermal Drug Delivery System)
  • Wound healing

Does it hurt?

No this is a very comfortable treatment to have.

Is one treatment enough on its own?

Whilst one treatment can yield results, more commonly multiple Plasma Shower treatment sessions are required to obtain optimal results.  Treatment programmes of 2-6 treatments at 1-4 weekly intervals are recommended to achieve the best results.

How soon will I see results after treatment?

The effects of the Plasma Shower treatment can usually be seen within one week after treatment.

Can I wear makeup straight away after a treatment?

No, your skin will be highly absorbent after treatment and we ask that nothing is used on your skin for a minimum of 6 hours following treatment.
