I am a registered nurse of 37 years experience having qualified at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Health Studies, Foundation degree in Dermatology and a qualified counsellor.
I am a Nurse Independent Prescriber, qualified and registered to prescribe prescription only medicines in this field. During my career I have worked in a variety of specialties with extensive experience in the field of maxillo-facial surgery.
Having gained my PGCE, I have for many years been involved with the education of nurses and am an active member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and a trainer for 4T Medical mentoring newly trained aesthetic nurses.
I undertook my specialised aesthetic training in Harley Street and am qualified and experienced in a wide range of treatments. I am passionate about the field of aesthetics and update regularly, attending workshops and conferences to keep up to date with this rapidly changing field.
Together with my daughter and business partner Jade, I am committed to client safety and upholding the highest standards. I belong to the independent body SaveFace and more recently I have taken the clinic through CQC registration in order to provide Dermatology services to patients.
My spare time (!) is spent rescuing dogs from Cyprus (I have 7 – who says this isn’t normal?!), volunteering for local homeless charities, spending time with family and friends and enjoying yoga and meditation.
I co-founded Rediscovered Skin Clinic in 2014 with my business partner, and Mum, Aly. I began in the aesthetic industry by specialising in permanent makeup, the art of cosmetic tattooing. My artistic flair, attention to detail and precision means I have become renowned for being a perfectionist in my field and am continuously developing my knowledge by attending specialised training courses.
Alongside my permanent makeup skills I am also an experienced laser and plasma technician and am passionate about helping people improve their confidence with the wide range of advanced skin health procedures I am trained to provide.
Having suffered with poor skin health myself in the past, I am hugely driven by being able to help clients fall in love with their skin again. Some of my favourite treatments to offer are micro-needling, chemical peels and fractional laser.
I’m currently undertaking my Level 4 diploma in advanced skin studies (which I’m absolutely loving!) to make sure I know as much I can about all things skin in order to bring you the best service possible.
Outside of the clinic, I love taking my 3 dogs on long beach walks, dining out, sampling the cocktail lists and am a keen powerlifter! I also absolutely love volunteering for the ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ charity at monthly skincare and makeup workshops for ladies undergoing treatment for cancer, it’s both hugely humbling and rewarding to be a part of.
