I am a registered nurse of 37 years experience having qualified at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Health Studies, Foundation degree in Dermatology and a qualified counsellor.
I am a Nurse Independent Prescriber, qualified and registered to prescribe prescription only medicines in this field. During my career I have worked in a variety of specialties with extensive experience in the field of maxillo-facial surgery.
Having gained my PGCE, I have for many years been involved with the education of nurses and am an active member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and a trainer for 4T Medical mentoring newly trained aesthetic nurses.
I undertook my specialised aesthetic training in Harley Street and am qualified and experienced in a wide range of treatments. I am passionate about the field of aesthetics and update regularly, attending workshops and conferences to keep up to date with this rapidly changing field.
Together with my daughter and business partner Jade, I am committed to client safety and upholding the highest standards. I belong to the independent body SaveFace and more recently I have taken the clinic through CQC registration in order to provide Dermatology services to patients.
My spare time (!) is spent rescuing dogs from Cyprus (I have 7 – who says this isn’t normal?!), volunteering for local homeless charities, spending time with family and friends and enjoying yoga and meditation.
I co-founded Rediscovered Skin Clinic in 2014 with my business partner, and Mum, Aly. I started out in the aesthetic industry as a permanent makeup artist but soon realised that wasn’t my real passion – skin was!
I’m an experienced laser technician (in fact, the self-titled RSC
Laser Queen!) with over ten years of experience and knowledge under my belt, as well as a Level 4 qualification in Laser & Light Therapies and Skin Science.
In addition to that, I regularly carry out a wide range of non-surgical treatments such as radio-frequency microneedling, HIFU, chemical peels and skin boosters, to name a few.
I’m in love with my job. If you can call it that, really, because it’s much more than just a vocation. I am lucky enough to come in to clinic each day and meet the widest and most wonderful variety of people, from all walks of life, and get to be part of your journey to feeling better about yourself.
It may sound like a cliché but, while we work on your “exterior”, what we do is not actually about how you look, it’s about how you feel.
Our reason for setting up this business was to make everyone feel welcome, confident and the very best version of themselves. Including ourselves! We believe everyone should feel beautiful and we make sure to have at least sampled all the treatments we offer so you know we’re walking the walk, not just talking the talk!
When I’m not helping people feel fabulous, outside of the clinic, I love taking my three furry four-pawed children on long walks, binging Netflix series, eating out (& sampling the cocktail lists, naturally) and I’m a keen powerlifter!
Having qualified as a Registered Nurse at the age of 21, I pride myself on being a highly skilled and experienced nurse. I discovered my passion for aesthetics and joined The Harley Medical Group, in 2009, immersing myself in the surgical and non-surgical fields. I supported our patients throughout each stage of their surgical journey and carried out treatments, including lasers, injectables and skin treatments. This vigorous training regime established and cemented my skills in aesthetics.
In 2014, I joined The Spire Hospital in Southampton and assisted the set-up of the non-surgical aesthetic department. I was able to continue to treat and provide high quality, safe, personalised treatment plans for clients based on their unique concerns and goals.
In 2021, following the birth of my second son I found my way to the Rediscovered Skin Clinic and received treatment from Aly, as a client. I instantly fell in love with the clinic and more important the team! The friendly and professional atmosphere coupled with the latest treatment options, reflecting my own values, was somewhere I wanted to be.
Joining the RSC team has allowed me to continue helping clients enhance their natural beauty and regain their confidence, which is what I love most!
I am committed to delivering exceptional results, through continued education and updating skills regularly.
My professional growth allows me to provide high standards of care safely and in turn create trust and build confidence within our RSC clients, whilst having a little fun along the way in true RSC style!
Outside of RSC I love spending time with my husband Grainger and 2 fantastic sons. We can be regularly found at the beach, and I absolutely love being on the waves either paddle boarding or windsurfing (wearing my SPF, obviously!!).
I also enjoy all things fitness and have a passion for the gym, rugby and running which balances my love for a gin and tonic, or two!
I’ve always believed that true self-love begins with taking care of your skin, your body, and your mind. Joining Rediscovered Skin Clinic felt like the perfect alignment of everything I practice and care about daily – wellbeing, confidence, and connection. I’m passionate about helping people not just look their best, but feel their best too.
My journey to RSC is a bit of a unique one! I first visited the clinic with my mum as a client, and instantly fell in love with the welcoming vibe and the incredible Aly and Jade. We stayed in touch, and during lockdown I was even a guest on one of their ‘famous’ Instagram Lives, chatting about my love for microneedling. Once the world reopened, it felt completely natural to become part of the team, and the rest is history!
Before RSC, I wore a few hats – working in NHS notes auditing, business management, and most notably creating digital content across YouTube and Instagram. Much of my online work focused on skincare and mental health, so joining RSC genuinely feels like a full-circle moment for me.
I hold advanced diplomas in both Photoshop & Web Design and Digital Marketing, which I now use to help elevate RSC’s online presence and branding. Whether it’s managing clinic operations or leading our digital strategy, I love being able to bring creativity and heart into everything we do.
Outside of the clinic, I’m a passionate advocate for those living with Crohn’s & Colitis. Diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at 17 and now living with an ileostomy, I use my platform and connections with places like Royal Bournemouth Hospital to support and empower others—breaking stigma one honest conversation at a time.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in a tattoo chair (I’m proudly covered in ink!), going to concerts or out on my electric skateboard with my partner!
