Meet Jade, our Laser Specialist and self-titled RSC Laser Queen

I co-founded Rediscovered Skin Clinic back in 2014 with my business partner and Mum, Aly. At the time, I was working as a permanent makeup artist. I loved the creativity, but something didn’t quite click. What truly fascinated me was skin. How it behaves. How it heals. How it changes over time.

Once I stepped into the world of skin and laser, there was no going back.

Fast forward more than ten years, and I now work as our Laser Specialist, proudly earning the nickname RSC Laser Queen. I hold a Level 4 qualification in Laser & Light Therapies and Skin Science, and I bring over a decade of hands-on clinical experience into every treatment room.

But qualifications are only part of the story. What really matters is how you apply them.

Laser treatments are often marketed as quick fixes. In reality, they are some of the most operator-dependent treatments in medical aesthetics.

One of the things I love most about my job is the people I work with. Aly brings deep medical expertise as a Nurse Prescriber. Nathan keeps everything running smoothly and ensures patients feel supported from the moment they get in touch.

Together, we create treatment plans that are collaborative, medically led and patient-focused. Laser never sits in isolation. It is always considered within the bigger picture of skin health and long-term outcomes.

Life outside the clinic

When I am not in clinic, you will usually find me doing one of a few things.

I love taking my four furry, four-pawed children out for long walks. I am a big fan of a Netflix binge. I enjoy eating out, and yes, I absolutely sample the cocktail lists. Balance is important.

And perhaps surprisingly to some, I am also a keen weightlifter. Strength training keeps me grounded, focused and strong, both physically and mentally. Much like skin health, it is about consistency, respect for your body and playing the long game.
