Sunekos

Sunekos is a new injectable treatment containing amino acids and Hyaluronic acid.

It works by stimulating the fibroblasts in the skin to produce new collagen and elastin.

This treatment corrects and protects the dermis from the signs of aging. Sunekos is the only natural product in professional aesthetics that stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, restoring elasticity and volume to the skin.

Sunekos is a great option for people who wish to maintain a more natural look, or those who do not want toxins or fillers. You can also use it as an add on to your treatments to improve the quality of your skin.

Sunekos can be used on any kind of dermis and in different parts of the body such as: face, neck, décolleté and hands. Sunekos 200 is particularly effective in the area around the eyes to reduce dark circles and bags.

Sunekos can treat various indications, including; loss of tone, skin ageing and premature skin ageing, skin dryness, solar elastosis, sun damage, dark circles under the eyes and fine lines and wrinkles.

Is it painful?

A cream is used on the skin to numb the area before treatment. You may feel a pinprick sensation as the skin is injected. In certain areas such as the forehead, a blunt tube (cannula) is used instead of a sharp needle. If a local anaesthetic is used to numb the area this can sting for a few seconds when it is injected.

Is there any downtime?

The procedure has no downtime (although as with any injectable treatment their may be bruising and swelling) and the patient can immediately continue as normal.
Sunekos 200 acts in a physiological way. The standard protocol for the face consists of a number of small injections after numbing the skin with a topical anaesthetic; you will start to see some improvement after the first session.

What are the side effects and are there any risks?

The injection of Sunekos is considered to be a safe medical-surgical procedure however as with any medical procedure, the body may respond and react in a way that is not always predictable such as bruises, swelling, inflammation. These reactions can occur even with the most skilled of injectors taking great care in your treatment.

How long will it last?

Depending on the patients and their skin conditions, results can last for up to 6 months before repeating the procedure, however research suggests that there is still improvement in the skin for up to 8 months after treatment.

Depending on the area that is being treated Sunekos 200 protocol normally requires 4 treatments over a 3 to 4 week period, each treatment normally can be completed in 30 minutes.

Can anyone have this treatment?

Sunekos is suitable for both younger and more mature skin and all ethnicities. It is not available as a treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
