Mesotherapy – RRS Injectables

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, anti-oxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat. The technique was developed in France in 1952 and has continued to grow in popularity. The RRS® range of formulations are an advanced aesthetic skincare technique. They are a form of mesotherapy, injecting active ingredients into the dermis. RRS® injectables are highly effective treatments designed to revitalise your skin, leaving you with a healthy glow!

The complete range of RRS® products consists of three families with 14 different products in total, which means that we can find the ideal combination for each individual client’s needs and desired outcomes.  This treatment gives great results, with little downtime and a speedy recovery. Best results are obtained from a course of treatments.

The RRS® range of treatments work to tackle various signs of ageing including:

  • improving skin texture
  • enhancing hydration
  • reducing under eye pigmentation
  • reducing other areas of uneven pigmentation
  • tackling under-eye puffiness and fat pads
  • treating signs of photo-ageing
  • treating skin laxity
  • improving the skin’s overall tone
  • tackling pockets of fatty tissue ie under chin

RRS® is a non-surgical injectable treatment, delivered as a form of mesotherapy. The area to be treated is cleansed and a numbing cream applied prior to treatment.  Mesotherapy involves multiple little injections of vitamins, enzymes and extracts into the upper dermis to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. These are injected to bio-revitalise the skin, in a safe and effective treatment for the face and body. The treatment also helps to stimulate the production of collagen, which over time helps to improve the elasticity and tone of your skin. Following treatment the area is lightly massaged. The whole process takes around 45 minutes (including numbing time).

How quickly will I see results?

You will have an instant glow post treatment due to the micro injections however results develop gradually over the next few weeks with a course of up to six treatments required every two to four weeks.

Does it hurt?

We apply a numbing cream to the treatment area for 20 minutes before treatment so the process is not painful although there may be minor discomfort as some of the products may sting a little.

How long does it last?

With a course of 4-6 treatments, patients can expect results to last for around 6 months after the recommended course of treatment is completed.  We suggest that you repeat this once or twice per year to maintain results
